AREA Scholarship Deadline Extended

The AAFES Retired Employees Association (AREA) is extending the deadline for its college scholarships for dependents of Exchange associates and Exchange military personnel.
Graduating high school seniors who have been accepted to an accredited college now have until April 30, 2020, to submit their application to win one of the following scholarships:
- 2 scholarships valued at $5,000 each
- 10 scholarships valued at $3,000 each
AREA may also award additional scholarships based on the number and quality of applications submitted.
In the 35 years since AREA began this wonderful program, it has awarded more than $825,000 in scholarships to college-bound scholars.
Exchange dependents who meet the requirements are encouraged to complete an application here. Associates who themselves qualify may also apply.
