Four Stores Earn Director/CEO Cup, the Exchange’s Highest Honor

Winners of the Director/CEO Cup, the Exchange’s highest honor, were announced April 28. One Exchange in each size category (mega, large, medium and small) received the award, which goes to the top Exchanges worldwide.

Region senior vice presidents nominated an Exchange in each of the main store categories based on sales volume. The winners were selected based on evaluation of customer experience, leadership, business results, marketing efforts and community presence. Runners-up in each category were also announced.

“These teams epitomize the Exchange’s commitment to being a true force multiplier for our Nation’s military mission,” said Exchange Director/CEO Tom Shull. “They go above and beyond to support military recruiting, readiness, retention and lethality, elevating critical Quality-of-Life support through their steadfast dedication to serving those who serve.”

Shull recognized the following Exchanges for exceptional service:

SMALL

Winner: Carlisle Barracks (Eastern Region)
Runner-up: Kunsan (Pacific Region)

MEDIUM

Winner: Yokota/Camp Fuji (Pacific Region)
Runner-up:
Wiesbaden Consolidated (Europe/Southwest Asia Region)

LARGE

Winner: Fort Riley/McConnell (Central Region)
Runner-up: Italy Consolidated (Europe Region)

MEGA

Winner: Okinawa (Pacific Region)
Runner-up: Kaiserlautern Military Community Consolidated (Europe/Southwest Asia Region)

Winning stores received a prize of $1,500 to $5,000, depending on the size category. Runners-up received prizes of $750 to $2,500.
