Fan favorites are back at the Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson Exchange with the grand reopening of two upgraded Burger Kings and a Subway.
The Exchange cut the ribbons on the renovated restaurants with the help of Air Force 673d Mission Support Group commander, Col. Dustin Hansen and Chief Master Sgt. Jason Parrish.
The renovations feature new seating, modern signage, improved drive-thrus and more.
“The JBER community is thrilled to welcome back these restaurants,” said JBER Exchange General Manager Keola Chan. “The facelift brings these fan favorites in line with industry standards—the same experience diners would find outside the gate.”
Exclusive swag was given away to attendees while supplies lasted. The Burger Kings also offered customers the opportunity to enter to win a new television, PlayStation 4 and more.
