Mr. Hyon, Min-su is a supervisor of PowerZone, Toys and Outdoor Living at Osan Main Store. He understands what our customers are interested in and focuses on how we can approach them. Pokémon Trading cards are one of the most-wanted items in Toys. On Oct 4, he led the Pokémon trading card event, delivering $16,000 in the first 40 minutes and $17, 400 total, representing 21% of the day’s sales. His execution, customer insight and operational discipline directly contribute to the store’s performance.

On Nov. 6, during a basketball game at Camp Zama, a group of high school students visiting from Sasebo arrived at the food court after closing time. Popeyes and Burger King were already closed and were only able to serve a limited amount of remaining food, but Subway Foreman Yuina Shimabukuro chose to take extra steps to ensure every student received a proper meal. Even though the store had officially closed, she reopened the line, prepared fresh items and treated the students with exceptional kindness and professionalism. Her decision demonstrated strong judgment, compassion and a genuine commitment to doing the right thing for our community. Her actions exemplify the spirit of service, setting a standard of integrity and customer care that reflects positively on the entire team.

Since 2023, The Grill Box has been a dedicated food truck vendor serving the Kunsan community. As the first food truck operator on base, Grill Box owner Mr. Kim, Chong-su has consistently supported local events such as Concert Day and Heritage Day, responding promptly to community needs. Thanks to his effort, Grill Box made $151,386 YTD and it is 10% above the 2024 result. His commitment reflects the Exchange’s “We go where you go” mission and sets a strong example for other vendors.
