For the last three years, Debi Deleno-Dilello has taken care of U.S. Military Academy Cadets as they transition from civilians to Soldiers for Life. She manages the Military Clothing store and is part of the Cadets journey every step of the way from Reception Day to commissioning.
Deleno-Dilello, whoโs spent nearly 10 years at the West Point Exchange, was honored by Exchange Director/CEO Tom Shull during his Nov. 2 visit to USMA. She received a plaque with two Director/CEO coins and a letter congratulating her on a job well done.
โDebiโs care and compassion leaves a lasting impression on these young Soldiers, ensuring they will be customers for life,โ Shull said. โItโs a privilege to honor Debiโshe makes a difference each day.โ
Being such an integral part of Cadetsโ time at West Point is special to Deleno-Dilelloโand she intends to keep Military Clothing the focus of her Exchange career.
โThe best part is I have them when they come in, and I watch them go all the way through,โ Deleno-Dilello said.ย “Itโs the greatest pleasure to be able to do this for them.โ
