The AAFES Retired Employees Association will award 12 scholarships worth $40,000 to graduating high school seniors who have been accepted at accredited colleges.
The deadline to apply is March 31.
For application and submission criteria, see the retiree association’s website. The scholarships are available for children of Exchange associates and military members assigned to the organization.
Since 1984, the association has awarded nearly $780,000 to about 360 students entering their freshmen year of college.
