From the Military Clothing Conference: Vendor Partners Help the Exchange Mission

Three top vendors of military tactical gear, clothing and insignia were named by the Exchange as suppliers of the year during the Military Clothing Store conference

“These suppliers stand by our Soldiers and Airmen through their expertise and service,” said Dan Koglin, the Exchange’s divisional merchandise manager for Military Clothing. “They provide unwavering support of our organization and customers. Their commitments to our success are greatly appreciated by the Exchange.”

The suppliers are:

  • Ira Green Inc., military tactical gear. The company’s breadth of product assortment and speed of support for individual Military Clothing Store needs delivered a 20% increase (over $4 million) in sales and an incremental $1 million in margin dollars for 2019.
  • Royal Textile Mills, military clothing. The company was instrumental in the successful launch of the Air Force’s Operational Camouflage Pattern (OCP) uniforms. Royal Textile Mills’ Duke brand saw an increase in sales of $6 million in 2019, an increase of 265% over the prior year.
  • Vanguard Industries, military insignia. As a key partner with dedicated staff worldwide, Vanguard’s in-store customer service representatives take great care in expeditiously fulfilling special requests. Vanguard is recognized for supporting Exchange celebrations including Month of the Military Child, providing 170,000 uniquely designed “brat” patches for military families, and for supporting Army and Air Force birthday events.

Why can we not go under “Browse Categories” and pull up the 2020 Exchange Post as we were able to do in the past?

      Scott:

Thank you for writing to your Exchange Post. Let me see what I can do.
