Thirty-six Camp Humphreys associates recently received recognition from garrison command for assisting Soldiers and their families in quarantine after PCS’ing to Camp Humphreys.
Camp Humphreys General Manager Ann Yi as well as associates from the food court, main store, Human Resources, Distribution Center, Loss Prevention, Logistics, IT, help desk, contracting and the executive office volunteered to assist with selecting merchandise and food and delivering the items to the quarantine barracks. To date, Camp Humphreys associates have delivered more than 33,000 food and 5,600 retail orders.
“These associates volunteered on their lunch breaks, nights and weekends to ensure Soldiers and their families in quarantine had what they needed,” said Exchange Pacific Region Vice President Scott Bonner. “It’s great to see command recognize them for going above and beyond in fulfilling the Exchange family serving family core value.”
Camp Humphreys Garrison Commander Col. Mike Tremblay and Garrison Command Sgt. Maj. Benjamin Lemon presented certificates of appreciation to the associates in a ceremony Sept. 24 at the main store.
