The Exchange is expanding health and wellness services at Army and Air Force installations with the opening of its first chiropractic clinic.

The Luke Air Force Base Exchange celebrated the grand opening of The Joint Chiropractic on Jan. 12. 56th Mission Support Group Commander Col. Anthony Mullinax and 56th Security Forces Squadron Senior Enlisted Leader Chief Master Sgt. Jason Parrish helped cut the ribbon.
“Keeping military shoppers healthy is critical to the Exchange’s commitment to the communities we are honored to serve,” said Exchange Director/CEO Tom Shull. “Supplemental wellness services enhance Quality of Life for our entire military community, including authorized disabled Veterans and Department of Defense and Coast Guard civilians.”
Chiropractic care from the largest operator of chiropractic clinics in the U.S. is the latest health and wellness effort by the Exchange’s Services and Food Directorate, which in recent years has introduced or expanded name-brand dental, optometry, cryotherapy and durable medical equipment offers at Exchanges worldwide.

“Introducing chiropractic care services furthers the Exchange’s mission to make BXs and PXs a one-stop shop for military shoppers’ needs,” said Denise Gumbert, Vice President of Services, Health and Wellness. “We look forward to further expanding our health and wellness services, including chiropractic care, throughout 2022.”
The Joint’s second Exchange office, located at MacDill AFB, is scheduled to open this month, with a third slated for February at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. Additional clinics are expected to open at more Army and Air Force installations throughout 2022.
The introduction of chiropractic clinics further strengthens the Exchange’s holistic BE FIT program, which also nourishes Warfighters and their families with better-for-you meal and snack options at Exchange restaurants and Expresses and brings tax-free fitness apparel, accessories and footwear at Exchange stores and ShopMyExchange.com.
