Since 2013, the Fort Bragg Exchange has supported the 5-mile run that kicks off All American Week at the installation, cheering along the troops and supplying them with water, Gatorade and other beverages, all sponsored by Exchange vendors.

The day starts early for the managers and associates who volunteer to support the event, getting up at 2 a.m. to ensure everything is ready for the 6:30 a.m. start of the event. Thereโ€™s a lot to support: about 15,000 troops participated in this yearโ€™s run.

All American Week, which began Sept. 26 and runs through Sept. 29, honors the legacy of the 82nd Airborne Division with events including the 5-mile run, an Old Timerโ€™s Breakfast, a Hall of Fame induction ceremony and more. To learn more, visit the 82nd Airborneโ€™s Facebook page.
