July is Pursuing Happiness Month
In a world constantly moving, seeking meaning and fulfillment has become an ongoing pursuit. Often, we find ourselves grappling with questions like: What does it truly mean to be happy?
When embarking on the journey to happiness, consider the following during July, which is Pursuing Happiness Month:
- Acknowledge that pursuing happiness is not a destination but rather a lifelong expedition.
- Be grateful for your many gifts.
- Recognize that happiness is subjective and varies from person to person. What brings joy to one individual may not necessarily have the same effect on another.
- Embrace your uniqueness and acknowledge that your journey toward happiness will be deeply personal.
- Cultivate self-acceptance, gratitude and mindfulness to uncover the happiness within you.
- Nurture a positive mindset and find joy in the simple pleasures of life.
- Experience engaging activities—creative, social, athletic, or professional.
- Do not compare yourself to others.
- Share your dreams only with people who support your vision of success.
Live webinar:Â The Pursuit of Happiness Using Positive Psychology, July 12. Register here. The webinar will focus on the following:
- Define happiness and the role of positive psychology.
- Discuss barriers to happiness.
- Practice strategies to improve your well-being.
Lastly, approach the pursuit of happiness with an open heart and a curious mind. Seek out moments of joy and wonder, find purpose in your passions, and surround yourself with those who uplift and inspire you. Remember that happiness is not a final destination, but a transformative journey that unfolds as we embrace each experience and strive to become the best version of ourselves.
