Director/CEO Tom Shull Salutes Associates at Joint Base Andrews and Fort Belvoir

Army & Air Force Exchange Service Director/CEO Tom Shull recognized 19 associates for their commitment to excellence during visits this week to the Joint Base Andrews and Fort Belvoir Exchanges.

Shull spoke with Joint Base Andrews associates Feb. 6 and Belvoir associates Feb. 7, thanking them for their dedication to improving the Quality of Life at the military communities they serve.

“Each of you makes a difference in the lives of those we serve,” he told the team. “Even if it’s a friendly smile when taking care of them in the store. It matters.”

The JBA Exchange supports a base that hosts major commands from each of the armed forces as well as the Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve. The base is strategically located just minutes from the nation’s capital and is the home of Air Force One. Tammy Toney is the Exchange general manager.

At Joint Base Andrews, Shull presented the Director/CEO coin to:

  • Wanda McLeod, shift supervisor, Soldiers’ Home, Washington, D.C.; two years with the Exchange
  • Donald Anderson, sales area manager, firearms, main store; 12 years with the Exchange
  • Alyssa Dinio, roving store worker, Express; military spouse with one year at the Exchange
  • Debra Hoyle, warehouse worker, main store; retired military spouse with 26 years at the Exchange
  • Tina Hines, customer experience associate, main store; three years with the Exchange
  • Latoya White, customer experience associate, main store; two years with the Exchange
  • Angel Moten, computer operator, administrative office; 12 years with the Exchange
  • Ross Leung, Military Clothing store manager; 20 years with the Exchange
  • Monet Graves, food worker, Charleys; seven months with the Exchange
  • Jessica Hoge, food foreman, Starbucks; nine months with the Exchange

At Fort Belvoir, Shull reiterated that the support Exchange associates provide matters to the heroes who serve.

“Every day is about taking care of the best customers in the world and acknowledging their service and sacrifice,” Shull told the Belvoir team. “Love your customer.”

Alex Mamaril is the general manager of the Fort Belvoir Exchange, which is one of the largest Exchanges on the East Coast. Shull presented challenge coins to:

  • Ruby Robles, store assistant, main store; Army spouse with four years at the Exchange
  • Marlene Luchi, warehouse worker, main store; 18 years at the Exchange
  • Clement Acquah, store worker, main store; 15 years at the Exchange
  • Ronnie Pascua, customer experience associate, main store; seven years with the Exchange
  • Lucinda Gonzalez-Turcios, food service worker, food court Starbucks; 19 years at the Exchange
  • Nathaniel Foy Jr., concept manager, food court Popeyes; two years at the Exchange
  • Tykeira Knight, restaurant manager, Fort Belvoir Community Hospital Starbucks; nine years at the Exchange
  • Hana Berry, restaurant manager, Burger King; 18 years at the Exchange
  • Christina Morgenstern, store manager, South Post Express; Army spouse with two years at the Exchange
