The Exchange’s arsenal of dining options is expanding after the grand opening of Potbelly on Fort Libertyโ€”the first at any Exchange.

Fort Liberty Garrison Commander Col. John Wilcox joined Exchange General Manager Thomas โ€œTKโ€ Kuttamperoor in a ribbon-cutting April 30. Guests were treated to samples and giveaways, including a drawing where one shopper won a yearโ€™s worth of free Potbelly.

Two more Potbelly restaurants at Fort Liberty are planned for 2024: One at the Honeycutt Express and one on South Post.

Aligned with the Exchangeโ€™s BE FIT 360 programโ€™s focus on better-for-you dining options, Potbelly offers sandwiches and salads, including Avo Turkey, Mediterranean and Veggie Melt sandwiches and Powerhouse and Farmhouse salads.

โ€œThe Fort Liberty Exchange is honored to be the first Potbelly location on any military installation,โ€ Kuttamperoor said. โ€œName-brand restaurants are vital to feeling at home, and the Exchange remains committed to improving the dining experience for our community.โ€

Diners on the go can also order online through the Potbelly mobile app or a third-party delivery service. Military diners can also request catering.

Anyone, including civilians, can dine at an Exchange restaurant. 100% of Exchange earnings are reinvested into the community through Quality-of-Life programs and capital improvements designed to help make military communities stronger.
