Julie has spent 23 of her 26 years with the Exchange at Offutt Air Force Base. As the services business manager, she embraces teamwork and is dedicated to taking care of our Exchange business customers.  Julie has a great relationship with base command and our community, never hesitates to volunteer her assistance and is instrumental in organizing collaborative events. She works tirelessly to bring in exciting new vendors for our community and has successfully opened 11 unattended retail units with sales totaling $296,396 since Jan. 1, 2024. Julie is working on opening her 12th unattended retail unit.  Her achievements have a lasting effect on the organization. Way to go, Julie!

Yong provides an extraordinary customer experience using the “Doing the Right Thing” system—Greet, Listen, Suggest and Thanks. She always greets our customers as they come in, happily assists them in finding what they’re looking for, never keeps them waiting at the register and  promotes the MILITARY STAR card with every customer, every time. Yong consistently wins our customers over with great service!

Marketing is crucial to our Exchange—Kenny, our visual merchandiser and an Air Force Veteran, shares our core values and consistently has high regard for the Barksdale community with every sign, poster and Facebook post he showcases. He does an exceptional job blasting out information about Exchange programs, available savings and our latest items through marketing. As a silent yet effective salesman, he supports 19 services and businesses—and more—with great pride. Thank you, Kenny, for always displaying the Exchange core values for all our internal and external customers to see.
