Exchange Associates Registered Nearly 50,000 Shoppers as New MILITARY STAR Cardmembers in 2024

The Exchange helps shoppers save, and in 2024, associates helped 50,000 shoppers save even more by opening a MILITARY STAR® card.

During fiscal year 2024, more than 4,700 associates registered shoppers for a MILITARY STAR account, resulting in more than $5 million in earnings.

“Associates play a vital role in our mission to make the MILITARY STAR card the preferred card of the military community,” said Exchange Credit Program Senior Vice President Tommy Ward. “The work everyone puts in each day is second to none.”

Associates support MILITARY STAR goals set by the Exchange Credit Program and their regions by opening a minimum of one account while performing their regular duties.

Hickam Air Force Base Customer Experience Associate Betty Ferrer brought in the most accounts, with 1,156 opened during fiscal year 2024.

Ferrer was among the top 25 associates who brought in more than 12,000 new accounts, resulting in a combined $1.1 million in store earnings.
