We’ve Been Serving Heroes for 130 Years — Now, We Want to Hear Your Story!
For 130 years, the Army & Air Force Exchange Service has proudly served those who serve. As we celebrate this milestone, we’re shining a spotlight on the people who make it all possible — you!
Active associates are encouraged to record a 15-second video, sharing their favorite moment, memory or experience from their time working at the Exchange. Videos should be raw footage, clear, upbeat and recorded in vertical (portrait) orientation.
Videos will be featured on @exchangeassoc social channels, Facebook, Instagram and X throughout July.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for associates to share what makes working at the Exchange so meaningful,” said Senior Vice President of Brand Marketing Sandi Lute. “Our team members are at the heart of everything we do, and we’re excited to spotlight their stories as we honor 130 years of service to military communities worldwide.”
Submissions can be emailed to socialmedia@aafes.com or uploaded to Exchange Associates-130th no later than June 13.
I have been with the Exchange almost six years! I started out as a part-time Cashier Supervisor, got put through RMA by a team leader who believed in me, and then was a shift manager for four great years! I had the opportunity to become a temporary Store Manager of a Troop Store and haven’t looked back thanks to my amazing former store manager! I love my job and my team and the Exchange! It has been a part of my entire life due to having military parents and being a mil spouse. I couldn’t imagine working anywhere else!
