Amanda Frickie
Assistant Store Manager
Fort Sill

Fort Sill Main Store honors Assistant Store Manager Amanda Frickie for her outstanding contributions and unwavering dedication. Amanda consistently seeks innovative ways to enhance the overall performance and appearance of her facility. Her proactive approach and strategic foresight have been instrumental in ensuring the right merchandise is available at the right time, particularly in response to the increasing influx of Advanced Individual Training trainees. Thanks to her diligence and commitment, key departments have experienced significant growth:

  • Linen (Dept. 478) is up 55.66% over the previous year, totaling $29,047
  • Cleaning Supplies (Dept. 435) is up 76.65%, totaling $77,031
  • Toiletries (Dept. 430) is up 26.41%, totaling $202,9

As a result, the store overall is up 26.41% compared with the previous year, with a remarkable $890,762 in sales growth, all within just the first two months of the fiscal year. These impressive results are a testament to Amanda’s leadership, work ethic and deep understanding of customer needs.  She has also recently accepted the responsibility as this year’s Retail Management Academy coach to two associates. We are excited to see the continued success she will bring to the Fort Sill Exchange and the Mid Central Region throughout the year.  Thank you, Amanda, for your outstanding service and dedication, you are truly appreciated!

Pichaya Dunham
Alteration Shop
Scott AFB Exchange

Ms. Pichaya is being recognized for her unwavering dedication and exceptional customer service. She joined the Scott AFB Exchange Alteration team in November 2020 and has been known to go above and beyond in serving our men and women in uniform. Ms. Pichaya consistently puts the needs of our customers above her own. During a recent inclement weather closure, Ms. Pichaya ensured she stayed until the very last second before the BX’s closing manager left. She was still the first to arrive the next day to start working on orders, demonstrating her steadfast commitment to the Exchange mission. When asked why, her response was simple and heartfelt: “ With remote working no longer an option, Soldiers need their uniforms, whether rain or shine. I don’t want to be the reason they get yelled at because their uniforms weren’t ready.” Ms. Pichaya’s dedication has earned the respect of her peers and customers and contributed significantly to her facility’s success—surpassing the previous year’s YTD sales by 25.5% and YTD sales goals by 24.5%. Thank you, Ms. Pichaya, for always going above and beyond.  You are a true asset to the Exchange!
