Out with the old, in with the new! The Exchange eBenefits site has received a major upgrade. To access eBenefits, log in to Employee Self Service and select Benefit Elections under the Family & Benefits section.

The four-month-long project added a wealth of new features, including enhanced well-being and benefits education resources and a robust resource library.

Upon first login, associates will be prompted to opt into paperless communication and text alerts or to continue receiving communication via the United States Postal Service.

Associates can cut back on confusion and calls to HR during the benefits enrollment period beginning Nov. 1 with the “Help Me Choose” tool. This tool is designed to help associates make more informed decisions with its integrated virtual guide, providing key information such as educational content and benefits cost calculations. Associates can also use the resource library for benefits documents, benefits FAQs and more. A new chat feature has been integrated for associates to ask questions and receive immediate answers from the automated tool.

Previously, associates used ALEX to assist in making informed benefits decisions. ALEX was hosted on a separate site and did not allow users to elect their benefits within the program, prompting users to switch between tabs to remember the benefits that were the best fit for them while finalizing their elections.

“The new eBenefits site goes beyond a simple redesign—it’s smarter, more intuitive and designed to make it easier to manage your benefits,” said Exchange Senior Benefits Specialist Tamara Corrales. “We’re excited to provide enhanced tools that help our associates make informed choices.”

Note: 401(k) beneficiaries previously managed through eBenefits must now be designated directly on the Fidelity website at www.401k.com. To view or update all other beneficiary information, simply click the icon next to your name in eBenefits.
