Exchange Brings Luxury Cinema Experience to Yokota AB with Remodeled Theater

Airmen, retirees and military families can kick their feet up and enjoy some well-deserved R&R at the Yokota Exchange’s newly remodeled Reel Time movie theater.
The 46-year-old theater underwent a major facelift, adding new seating and floors as well as an updated snack bar, which features updated furnishing, new digital menu boards, expanded snack assortment and digital movie posters.
“The upgrades at Yokota Reel Time theater reflect the Exchange’s commitment to enhancing the lives of our service members, retirees and military families,” said Yokota AB Exchange General Manager Andrew Defelice. “We’re thrilled to reintroduce this Quality-of-Life benefit back to the community.”
37th AW Commander Col. Richard McElhaney, Exchange Pacific Region Commander Col. Jason Beck and Exchange Pacific Region Senior Enlisted Advisor Sgt. Maj. Thomas Terry joined Defelice in cutting the ribbon on the upgraded cinema.
