USAG HUMPHREYS — From birthday cakes to “just because” cookies, the Exchange bakery at USAG Humphreys is bringing a bigger taste of home to service members and families with easy online ordering through the Myexchangefood.com website and app.
Custom cakes, cookies, Krispy Kreme doughnuts and more—baked fresh onsite—can be conveniently ordered online, giving the military community easy access to tastes of home.
“Having a taste of home is especially important while serving overseas, and the app makes it even easier,” said Col. Jason Beck, Pacific Region commander. “From birthday cakes to milestone moments, being able to celebrate with familiar American traditions makes a real difference for our Warfighters and their families.”
In addition to custom cakes, customers can also bulk-order everyday bread items such as burger and hotdog buns, dinner rolls and pies for unit functions like barbecues and holiday banquets. Ordering ahead helps ensure these events have the items they need without clearing store shelves.
The MyExchangeFood app is available to download from the Apple and Google Play stores.
The program is currently available at USAG Humphreys, but will be expanded to the rest of Korea, Okinawa and mainland Japan over the next few months. The bakery delivers orders to select locations for customer pickup at Humphreys including:
- Main Exchange food court
- Family Mini Mall Express
- Zoeckler Mini Mall Express
- Sentry Mini Mall Express
The Exchange bakery brings the best tastes of home—fresh goods that taste just like they would in America—to the 45,000 troops, military families and civilians living and working on installations across the peninsula, feeding their spirits and improving their Quality of Life.
