The Schofield Barracks Exchange recently celebrated the grand opening of an Auntie Anne’s pretzel shop, in partnership with a Hawaii restaurant owner and military supporter who has opened two previous restaurants with the Exchange.

In 2023, Kristiana Kim opened a Moe’s Southwest Grill at Schofield. That location proved  so successful that she wanted to continue serving the military community. In 2025, she added a Moe’s at the Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam Exchange.

On Aug. 13, Kim celebrated the grand opening of the Schofield Auntie Anne’s along with Hawaii Consolidated Exchange General Manager Julia Woods, Services Business Manager Jennifer Estrella, and Services team members Thea Nicolas, Therese Wheeler and Rey Calo. The celebration highlighted the success of the new location while giving customers a chance to enjoy Auntie Anne’s popular pretzels and lemonade.

The location soft-opened July 24  and made an immediate impression, demonstrating strong customer excitement for Auntie Anne’s signature hand-rolled pretzels and beverages.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Auntie Anne’s to the Schofield food court and bring yet another exciting option to our military community,” Woods said. “We’ve heard and seen the excitement for more variety, and we’re proud to respond by offering a brand that brings something fresh, familiar, and enjoyable. We look forward to seeing Auntie Anne’s become a new favorite here at Schofield Exchange.”
