The Exchange is improving how retirees access their pension plan information, working with pension program administrator Willis Towers Watson (WTW) to deliver more convenient support options.

On Sept. 1, a new eBenefits self-service site and Pension Support Center will launch, replacing the current Northern Trust website and call center. WTW, the Exchange’s pension program administrator for more than 20 years, will take a more active role in answering retirement questions to provide more efficient and timely support.

Northern Trust will continue to issue pension payments and provide annual tax forms. Nothing about your pension payment amount or schedule will change. The Northern Trust site will still be accessible to retirees but only to view payment detail and print tax forms. No changes to personal information will be permitted.

Accessing the new eBenefits site is easy. Log on to https://ExchangeBenefits.ehr.com to:

  • Access your pension information
  • Request pension verification statements
  • Update direct deposit, tax, email, phone and address information
  • Ask questions and share documents via Message Center
  • View your life insurance coverage (if qualified)
  • View and update your beneficiaries

For your protection, you’ll be asked for personal information to verify your identity before accessing your pension information.

Additionally, Exchange retirees will still be able to speak with live pension experts through the WTW-managed Support Center by calling 800‑519‑3381 and selecting option 1.

This new Pension Support Center reflects a significant investment in ensuring all Exchange retirees can easily access their earned pension benefits.

Thank you for your service and for allowing us to be of service to you!
