Members of the 3rd Battalion, 126th Infantry Regiment of the Michigan National Guard were treated to an evening of shopping and dining tailored for them at the Fort Polk Exchange.

Chief Master Sgt. Luis Reyes, the Exchange’s senior enlisted advisor, is giving members of the military community the chance to connect with big celebrities and rising talent in real-time during his “Chief Chats” on Facebook…

With schools overseas transitioning into the summer break, the Exchange has wrapped up its highly successful grab-and-go school meal program, serving more than 85,000 meals.

“The Exchange stands ready to provide a ray of sunshine in the wake of a natural disaster and bring a bit of comfort and normalcy to an otherwise dire situation.”

Exchange alteration shops have found a creative way to help during the pandemic while adhering to physical distancing restrictions. About 40 alteration shops worldwide are making face coverings in response to the Department of Defense…

“This is an example of how the Exchange leans forward to support service members and their families, wherever they are serving.”

“We are providing a safe shopping environment and a morale boost and, as always, it’s an honor to serve those who serve.”

“It made me feel proud that I was able to play a part in giving something back to those who are the real heroes.”

“Service members can come into the MFE to get a short break from a very trying environment.”

“Curbside service lets Airmen and Soldiers get their essentials while maintaining social distance. It’s a win-win.”
