“I remember playing hide-and seek in the headquarters building as a child,” said Callaway-Hout, whose father worked for the Exchange for 27 years, retiring as vice president of worldwide regions.
Hudson comes from a military family and will uphold the tradition: He has been selected to serve as a Naval Intelligence Officer, and Oct. 18 will be his last day at the Exchange.
The 27-year associate is an enterprise architecture manager Information Technology–where both her parents worked. “We’re an all-IT family,” she says.
For the past three years, the 31-year associate and military spouse has trained HQ and store Loss Prevention associates on policies, procedures and management skills. She has a lot of field experience to draw from.
During the motion picture/senior restaurant program planner’s 20-year career, she has served school meals to children overseas, traveled to Romania and Lithuania to show “Deadpool & Wolverine,” and more.
The Army Veteran has logged more than 2 million miles as an Exchange truck driver–and was a big part of Exchange support in New York City after the 9/11 attacks.
The 35-year associate, who plans to retire in September, is a military spouse who has worked at several Exchanges as well as DDDC.
The Exchange couple know “We go where you go” well: She grew up in a military family, and he serves in the Texas National Guard.
The IT associate, who has been with the Exchange 25 years, retires Aug. 30.
“Growing up, I remember going to the Exchange, but it wasn’t until I got older that I realized, ‘Wow, we literally are everywhere.’”
