During fiscal 2024, Exchange shoppers donated more than $1.6 million to Army Emergency Relief (AER). AER Chief Executive Officer Michael A. “Tony” Grinston showed his appreciation by recognizing several associates during recent Exchange visits.
The 22-year associate and military spouse remains just as inspired by her work as the day she joined the Exchange.
During his 33-year Exchange career, the Army Veteran has risen from janitor to Express store manager. “Most organizations don’t give you that kind of opportunity,” he says.
The 15-year associate and military spouse has worked in a variety of roles and received strong support from her teammates–including during one day when she went in to labor while at work.
Each year, associates worldwide serve as volunteers for the Public Affairs Representatives (PAR) program, administered by the HQ Public Affairs team. This program encourages associates to share and monitor media coverage relevant to the Exchange…
