The 15-year associate and military spouse has worked in a variety of roles and received strong support from her teammates–including during one day when she went in to labor while at work.

““People work for the Exchange because they love their jobs,” the military spouse says. “I couldn’t have worked here for 24 years if I didn’t love it..”

The military spouse and 17-year-associate calls herself a self-professed Exchange nerd.

The new store is in a better location and nearly twice as large as a store in a previous embassy building.

The mother-daughter duo, who have been with the Exchange a combined 42 years, say they communicate well together on the job and off.

The winners were randomly selected from more than 1,170 military students who entered the drawing after maintaining at least a B average during the 2024 fall semester.

The warehouse worker, who started at the Exchange in 1983, served with the Maryland Air National Guard.
