
Exchange managers are eager to hear feedback on the organizationโs health benefits on surveys selected associates and retirees received last month. The results are due Aug 30.
The surveys included:
- Annual member satisfaction survey. This survey measures the opinions of Exchange participants who filed health claims recently. Each year, Aetna processes about 2 million claim transactions for all DoD NAF employers. From that group, Aetna selects a random sample of about 8,000 participants at the Exchange and other NAF agencies to receive the survey. The survey was mailed in early July.
- 2018 CONUS member benefits and communications survey. This is a general survey about the health plan and how the Exchange communicates with associates about it. About 30,000 CONUS employees and retirees of all DoD NAF employers received the survey in late July.
Understanding needs, planning for future
Both surveys were sent from DSS Research in Fort Worth, Texas, a healthcare consulting and research company that has administered the DoD NAF/Aetna surveys for years.
โYou can complete the survey on paper and mail it to DSS in the envelope provided or read the instructions for a link to complete it online,โ said Julie Emory, the Exchangeโs benefits director. โIt is very important that we hear from associates about their opinions regarding our health benefits so we can understand their needs and plan for the future.โ
