A mobile field Exchange (MFE) that was displayed at the Dallas Veteranโ€™s Day Parade in November has earned second place in the category of Veterans Organizations by the parade committee.

Exchange Command Engineer Col. Juan Saldivar and Creative Director Johnny Olson, who designed the MFE, received the award on behalf of the Exchange at a ceremony Jan. 16.

Exchange Command Engineer Col. Juan Saldivar and Creative Director Johnny Olson received the award for second place in the category of Veterans Organizations by Greater Dallas Veterans Day Parade Chairman Pat Teipel.

The 53-foot โ€œExchange on wheelsโ€ is decked out in black and prominently features the Exchangeโ€™s โ€œWe Go Where You Goโ€ motto.

In addition to the Dallas Veterans Day Parade, the MFE was also featured at the 120th Army-Navy Game in Philadelphia in December, giving Cadets and Midshipmen a firsthand look at how the Exchange will support them throughout their careers.

โ€œIโ€™m honored that the MFE was recognized by the Dallas Veteranโ€™s Day Parade Committee,โ€ said Olson, a Marine Corps Veteran. โ€œThese MFEs highlight the Exchangeโ€™s capabilities for taking care of Warfighters wherever they are serving, It was a privilege to share that with the thousands of people who attended the parade.โ€
