Exchange Opens Its First Dean & David Health Food Restaurant

GRAFENWOEHR, Germany – The Exchange’s first Dean & David Health Food Restaurant opened in June at Grafenwoehr’s Exchange Mall on Tower Barracks.

Dean & David offers fresh, healthy and natural food without flavor enhancers, coloring or preservatives. The menu includes salads, bowls, sandwiches and juices.

“The Exchange remains committed to bringing service members and their families better-for-you options from high-quality, known brands,” said Grafenwoehr Exchange Service Business Manager Silke Hofmann-Boell. “Adding Dean & David to the Graf food court makes it even easier for military families to find fresh, healthy meal options while dining at the Exchange.”

U.S. Army Garrison Bavaria Deputy Commander Mike Daniels; Dean & David Area Manager Robert Centennial; Silke Hofmann, Grafenwoehr Exchange service business manager; Jari Stus, contractor with Dean & David, and her daughter Stella; Kyle Omler, main store manager; and Monet Rowan, food court manager, cut the ribbon on the grand opening.

“We are excited to be opening the first Dean & David on a military installation,” Daniels said. “It’s convenient and provides another healthy option for our community.”
