The Barksdale Exchange welcomed a new addition to the food court with the grand opening of Qdoba Mexican Eats, giving the community another better-for-you dining option.

2nd Bomb Wing Vice Commander Col. Joseph McKenna joined Barksdale Exchange General Manager Ellen Henderson to cut the ribbon on the new restaurant on Sept. 21.

“The Exchange remains committed to bringing Airmen and their families better-for-you options from high-quality, national name brands,” Henderson said. “Adding Qdoba to the Barksdale food court makes it even easier for military families to find fresh, healthy meal options while dining at the BX.”

Qdoba offers better-for-you menu options including fresh vegetables, whole-wheat tortillas and grilled chicken. Airmen and their families can order tacos, burritos, burrito bowls, nachos, tortilla soup, quesadillas and fresh-made guacamole.

Military shoppers at Barksdale can look forward to more improvements this winter and into early 2023. The main Express will welcome two quick-serve restaurant options, Eddie Peppers and Chopz, in the coming months.
