Exchange Adds New Better-for-You Restaurant at Moody Express
The Moody AFB Exchange recently welcomed a new restaurant to the Express for the Moody community to enjoy.
23rd Wing Deputy Commander Col. Ben Rudolphi joined Moody Exchange General Manager Tamala McCoy in cutting the ribbon Oct. 18 on Chopz.
Chopz offers subs, burritos, salads and breakfast, including better-for-you options that support the Exchange’s BE FIT commitment to providing healthy dining choices.
“Chopz adds variety and convenience for the Airmen, families, retirees and civilians at Moody AFB,” McCoy said. “Chopz is open whenever the Express is open, so community members can grab fresh food on the go throughout the day.”
Anyone with base access, including visitors, can dine at Exchange restaurants. Shopping and dining at the Exchange supports the Moody community, as 100% of Exchange earnings are reinvested in military communities through support for on-base Quality-of-Life programs, as well as capital improvements, such as the Chopz restaurant.
The Express is in Bldg. 554. It’s open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call 229-257-4166.
