Paula Casteen

Sheppard Main Exchange, Sheppard AFB
As the stockroom foreman for the Sheppard main store, Paula Casteen consistently exceeds expectations by working with her team to ensure an efficient and effective receiving process. Her ability to analyze and resolve complex receiving issues, including distribution center shortages and pricing discrepancies, has resulted in more than $10,000 in recovered credits for Sheppard main store and has saved countless hours of inventory research. Miguel Roche
Customer Experience Associate
Martin Road Express, Redstone Arsenal
A huge shout-out to Miguel Roche for going above and beyond throughout the month of July. When a team member was out for an extended period, Miguel willingly stepped up and took on additional responsibilities to help keep the store operating smoothly. In addition to excelling in his role as a customer experience associate, Miguel assumed custodial duties during his closing shifts, ensuring the facility remained clean, organized, stocked and ready for customers and associates. His dedication, dependability and team-first attitude made a tremendous difference during a challenging period and helped support Martin Road Express in delivering $875,850 in sales for July, exceeding AFP by 13%, while generating more than $35,000 in earnings for the business. Miguel’s willingness to step up, lead by example and go the extra mile embodies the values of the Exchange.

Stacy Snider
Shift Manager
Wilson Express, Fort Knox
Stacy Snider has worked diligently throughout the year to improve the Fort Knox Wilson Express Snack Avenue gross profit, achieving the 45% goal in July. Through her dedication to the program and careful monitoring of sales trends, ordering patterns and inventory management, she successfully reached the target. Wilson Express had consistently operated in the 39%-41% GP range, making this achievement especially significant during a year in which sales have been challenged by lower customer traffic. Additionally, Heat and Eat GP exceeded AFP by 19.3% and surpassed last year’s results by 3.5%. Stacy’s commitment, focus and operational discipline make her highly deserving of this recognition.
