Team Exchange forged into new territory last weekend as they spread the Exchange relevancy message to runners at the Air Force Marathon for the first time in the raceโs 26-year history.

With four children who served in three branches of the military, the 25-year Exchange veteran appreciated being able to be close to her children when they were deployed.

Operation Pizza Taco, sponsored by the Exchange, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell and Fort Hood MWR, featured an afternoon meet-and-greet with the Eli Young Band and Lee Brice at the Fort Hood Exchange, and a concert…

“We always connected with the Exchange to feel at home,” the Air Force spouse says. “That’s why I’m here. Because I feel at home here.”

“It is really nice to be able to find a job that gives … a spouse an opportunity to stay close to [my husband] and yet provide for our family.”

The Exchange is going the extra yard this football season, rolling out a new custom trailer for the annual Army vs. Air Force matchup scheduled for Nov. 5 at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.

The military Veteran knows what the Exchange means to those who are far from home.

As part of its ongoing efforts to inform Veterans of their lifelong, tax-free shopping benefits, the Exchange is in New Orleans connecting with heroes attending the American Veterans (AMVETS) 77th National Convention.
