Exchanges are celebrating road warriors during National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, which continues through Sept. 21. And we want to see how youโre honoring those who drive and deliver.

In celebration of National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, the Exchange is saluting its drivers who help fulfill the 129-year-old retailerโs โWe Go Where You Goโ mission.

John Stoneburg, Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army (Military Personnel & Quality of Life), visited the Dan Daniel Distribution Center on Sept. 4 and had a succinct summation of the experience.

The trailer will serve Central and Eastern Regions before being displayed at the 125th Army-Navy Game on Dec. 14 in Washington, D.C.

The 35-year associate, who plans to retire in September, is a military spouse who has worked at several Exchanges as well as DDDC.

Col. Everett โBudโ Lacroix praised the distribution center teamโs commitment and noted their critical role in supporting military operations.

The Exchange couple know “We go where you go” well: She grew up in a military family, and he serves in the Texas National Guard.

When the oven at the Okinawa bakery went down in June, its sister plant at Yokota Air Base stepped in to assist.

The Europe visit also included the retirement ceremony for COL Donnie “Don” Nowlin, the Exchange’s Europe/Southwest Asia/Africa commander.
