Denise Hunter has come full circle from her first Exchange job scooping ice cream for Baskin-Robbins at Germany’s Katterbach Exchange in 1987. But there’s a lot more in her circle now than just dessert.

Nearly 150 Osan Air Base Exchange customers lined up the morning of Aug. 20 ahead of the grand opening of the second Panda Express in South Korea.

Before the ribbon was cut, more than 150 members of the Stuttgart military community gathered in anticipation of being among the first to enjoy the new restaurant

The $2.4 million renovation features new dual drive-thru lanes, an improved dining room and more.

Panda Express joins five existing dining options in the stand-alone food court.

One customer even waited outside overnight to be first in line for the opening of the restaurant, the first Panda Express on a military installation and Korea and only the second in the country.
