Bronsyn Dungey, the 8-year-old son of Navy Cmdr. Gibb Dungey, who has served 17 years, received a $500 Exchange gift card for winning third place in the sweepstakes, which honors academic excellence.

Leo Velez, son of a retired Marine staff sergeant, won second prize in the worldwide sweepstakes, which honors academic excellence.

Trent Hall, a 14-year-old who received a $2,000 gift card at the Fort Gordon Exchange, plans to use the gift card to support local charity work.

When original plans for self-checkout hit a snag, the Exchange’s point-of-sale team relied on its ingenuity to make SCO a good experience for shoppers and associates.

“The Exchange truly understands the military lifestyle and supports spouses like me every step of the way,” the Military Clothing store manager says.

During fiscal 2024, Exchange shoppers donated more than $1.6 million to Army Emergency Relief (AER). AER Chief Executive Officer Michael A. โTonyโ Grinston showed his appreciation by recognizing several associates during recent Exchange visits.

During 2024, contributions to Army Emergency Relief, the Air Force Assistance Fund and the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society increased 7.1% from 2023.

First-, second- and third-place winners were chosen for achieving the highest attachment rates. One store achieved a 21.64% attach rate.

The awards are presented to the Exchange and the main stores in four categories with the highest reduction in recordable accidents compared with the previous year.
