Halfway Home: MILTARY STAR Challenge Cup Standings for First Half of 2025
As the MILITARY STAR® Challenge Cup competition hits the mid-year point, the top Exchanges have been announced.
Top Exchanges for new accounts:
- Europe: UK Consolidated
- Eastern: Tyndall AFB
- Central: NAS JRB – Fort Worth
- Pacific: USAG Yongsan-Casey
- Western: Eielson AFB
Top Exchanges for penetration:
- Europe: Grafenwoehr/Poland Consolidated
- Eastern: Tyndall AFB
- Central: Joint Base San Antonio – Randolph AFB
- Pacific: Anderson AFB
- Western: No qualifying winner
Exchanges compete at the store and region levels for a chance to be recognized as a top Exchange during the first and second halves of the fiscal year. The winning Exchange for each region will receive $500 for a team celebration, based on categories such as the highest percentage of new accounts and year-over-year usage.
At the conclusion of the fiscal year, the most improved and top region with the greatest MILITARY STAR card usage and new accounts opened will be honored with a special cup presentation by their region’s SVP. The top Exchange in each of those categories will receive $1,000 for a team celebration and a special presentation by their general manager.
“As we head into the second half of the year, including the busy holiday season, there should be plenty of opportunity for the numbers to increase,” said Exchange Credit Program Senior Vice President Joseph Todd. “We can’t wait to see how the competition heats up and progresses.”
New account results are calculated based on calendar month/year, while usage is calculated based on fiscal month/year.
