Dora is being recognized for her exceptional response to a customer experiencing a medical emergency outside the PX. At approximately 1730 one day, Dora noticed a gentleman in distress and immediately attempted to contact emergency services. She then stepped away from her register and sought additional assistance to ensure the customer received help. The gentleman had become severely ill and appeared to lose consciousness before EMS arrived and provided care. Dora remained calm and demonstrated sound judgment, compassion and genuine concern for the customer’s well-being. Her quick response may have prevented further harm and reflects the Exchange’s commitment to caring for our customers and the Kwajalein community.

Ms. O, To-yon consistently demonstrates exceptional leadership, professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to operational excellence. Through her outstanding leadership and results-driven approach, her Subway team has achieved six approved MILITARY STAR® Card applications year-to-date while delivering exceptional financial results. In fiscal June, her facility generated $84,541 in sales, maintained personnel costs 42.3% below AFP and expenses 24.8% below AFP, and achieved an outstanding bottom-line profit of $17,641 (20.87%), despite the opening of a new competing food concept. Ms. O leads by example, inspires her team to achieve high standards and consistently drives operational excellence, fiscal responsibility and superior customer service. Her performance, dedication and positive leadership have made a significant contribution to the success of the Osan food court and exemplify the Exchange’s core values.
