Yan Wen

Yan demonstrated exceptional leadership and dedication while guiding a brand-new team through two milestone events using Panda Express’ very first international opening team composed of management across the Pacific, when the team is usually sent from CONUS. During Yokota’s 50th Anniversary Friendship Festival, Yan led the team to generate $46.7K in sales over the two-day event while maintaining outstanding customer service and operational excellence. She continued that momentum during the grand opening of the Exchange’s first stand-alone Panda Express with a drive-through, where the team completed nearly 1,500 transactions and achieved $33.7K in first-day sales. This accomplishment established a new Panda Express record for international and military installation grand openings. Yan’s inspiring leadership, commitment to excellence and ability to build a high-performing team exemplify the Exchange mission and core values.
